Nia Jax recently made her return to WWE at the 2023 Royal Rumble from the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas as a surprise entrant in the Women’s Royal Rumble after being released by the company in November 2021. Nia Jax has not made any other pro wrestling appearance outside of her Royal Rumble appearance.
During a K&S Virtual Signing, Jax was asked about the possibility of joining AEW, with the former Raw Women’s Champion revealing that she’s open to the idea, pointing towards the friends she already has in the locker room.
“I actually would. I keep getting asked that question, and I usually say no, but I actually would. I’m really good friends with Saraya, I love what she’s doing there. I recently met Nyla Rose. It would be kind of cool and add something different,”
-Nia Jax
Saraya is currently involved in one of AEW’s biggest stories alongside her fellow Outcast stablemates Toni Storm & Ruby Soho, with the three ex-WWE Superstars feuding with AEW’s homegrown stars, including the current AEW Women’s Champion Jamie Hayter and Dr Britt Baker.
Whilst Jax, as a former WWE Superstar herself, would make sense as a potential ally of the Outcasts, there have yet to be any reports regarding interest on the company’s part, however as always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on the future of Nia Jax as soon as we hear more.
