Two IMPACT Wrestling stars have reportedly departed the company.

This past Saturday at IMPACT Wrestling’s Slammiversary saw Alex Shelley successfully defend the IMPACT World Championship against former TNA World Champion Nick Aldis. Aldis rejoined IMPACT earlier this year after departing the NWA on acrimonious terms with Billy Corgan, although it now appears as though his second stint with the promotion has come to an end.

PWInsiderElite.com are now reporting that Aldis has now wrestled his last scheduled appearance with the promotion, having taken on the returning Eric Young at last night’s taping.

“Nick Aldis, who had come into the company through Slammiversary weekend, has finished up this run. Aldis worked Eric Young on last night’s taping and as of right now, that was his last scheduled appearance with Impact Wrestling.”

Additionally, the report also noted that former NWA World Television Champion Zicky Dice’s time with IMPACT Wrestling has come to an end, with Dice finishing up his current storyline with Johnny Swinger at the aforementioned taping.

“Zicky Dice, who has been working for the company since 2021, most recently aligned with Johnny Swinger, also finished up at the TV taping. Dice finished up his storyline last night as well.”

As of writing it, it’s current unclear as to what the future holds for the pair, although it’s interesting to note that Aldis reportedly had interest from WWE prior to the hiring freeze, and thus the company may look to reignite their interest now that the 36-year-old is a free agent once again.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on the status of both Nick Aldis and Zicky Dice as soon as we hear more.
