Nikki Bella Reveals AEW’s Aaron Solo Has Been Coaching Her For In-Ring Return

AEW’s Aaron Solo has been helping Nikki Bella prepare for her WWE comeback.
Since beginning her WWE career in 2008, Nikki Bella has been a major figure in the company’s women’s division, first alongside twin sister Brie during the Divas era before establishing herself as a singles star during the Women’s Revolution. After The Bella Twins returned at the Royal Rumble this past January, Nikki was forced to miss a planned WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match at WrestleMania due to an ankle injury. Nikki made her return from injury on the July 24 episode of SmackDown, and she is now eager to get back in the ring with the help of a surprising name.
Speaking on The Nikki & Brie Show, Bella revealed that All Elite Wrestling’s Aaron Solo has been helping her on the road to making her return to the ring.
“Brie has her coach, who’s Bryan [Danielson]. So my coach has been Aaron Solo, and Aaron is amazing. When Brie was coming back, Aaron worked a lot with Bryan and Brie. Because he’s over in San Francisco, he’s been coming and coaching me and training me.”

Solo rose to prominence in AEW in 2020 after aligning with Cody Rhodes and The Nightmare Family. During Rhodes’ feud with QT Marshall, he became a member of The Factory and has continued making sporadic appearances for the company, most recently teaming with Nick Comoroto in a loss to Brodido on the July 15 episode of Dynamite.
Nikki Bella has also discussed her desire to make the most of what will likely be her final WWE run before retirement. You can read more about those comments here.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on future plans for Nikki Bella following her return to WWE TV as soon as we hear more.
