Paul Wight thinks AEW has the next truly big star already on its roster.

One reason many are high on All Elite Wrestling right now is that it has a diverse, stacked roster across both the men’s and women’s divisions. Not only does it have people to hold down the fort now, but they have enough promising young stars to build towards for the future, too. One such performer many are pitching for future success is Kyle Fletcher, and Paul Wight has now emphasised how much he believes “The Protostar” is primed to become one of the company’s biggest names.

During a chat with Going Ringside, Wight had big praise to give for Kyle Fletcher.

“Right now the guy I think is building incredible momentum and I see huge, big star potential is Kyle Fletcher. He checks every box. Interview ability. Wrestling ability. Tenacity. Aggression. His attitude for the industry. His willingness to work hard. The way he presents himself. His interaction with guys in the locker room behind the scenes. He’s very humble, very quiet, very good kid. I like seeing what he does. I look at him and go, ‘That guy’s got money written on him.’”

Though it took a while for the “The Protostar” to fully take shape, his feud with Will Ospreay helped him come into his own. Then, the Australian captured both the TNT and International Titles as he continued to build his name. As part of The Don Callis Family, the 27-year-old has become a featured part of Dynamite, and, in just over a week’s time, he’ll have an opportunity at the AEW World Championship as he renews his rivalry with “The Aerial Assassin” at Full Gear.

Before we get there, though, Fletcher will step into Blood & Guts tomorrow night, giving him the chance to face off with Ospreay before their championship match. As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Kyle Fletcher as soon as we hear more.
