Private Party Reportedly Suffered The Same Injury Against The Death Riders

Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen suffered the same injury during the same match in AEW.
Last weekend, PWInsider reported that Isiah Kassidy was dealing with an injury and that his absence from AEW television was unrelated to the injury suffered by his Private Party tag team partner, Marq Quen. There has since been an update on his status, and it appears the situation was a rather strange coincidence.
Fightful Select are now reporting that, in a remarkable coincidence, both Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen suffered the same injury during a tag team match against Jon Moxley and Daniel Garcia of the Death Riders on the March 28 episode of AEW Collision.
“It was confirmed to Fightful that both Kassidy and Quen ended up sustaining the same injuries in the same match – a tag team bout against the Death Riders on March 28. It ended up being one of the biggest coincidences in wrestling history, as the two have both been sidelined for three months since.”

The report from Fightful Select also notes that there is currently no timetable for either man’s return. At the time of writing, Private Party have been absent from All Elite Wrestling programming for just under three months.
For the former AEW World Tag Team Champions, this coincidental pair of injuries marks another unfortunate setback following their return to AEW television in February earlier this year, after more than a year away from programming.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on the injury status of both members of Private Party as soon as we hear more, and we continue to wish the pair all the best in their recoveries.
