QT Marshall has addressed getting removed from AEW Collision.

In November last year, we exclusively reported that, per people in AEW, CM Punk did not want QT Marshall on AEW Collision, as he did not see QTV as a productive part of Powerhouse Hobbs’ presentation.

Marshall recently spoke to Bill Apter of Sportskeeda, where he shared his thoughts on Punk’s time with AEW and revealed that the pair had discussed taking him off of television.

“I always liked him backstage. I know there were reports that he kept me off of TV, and we actually talked about it. We agreed. Neither of us wanted me to be Will Hobbs’ manager. Then I also had to work Saturdays and Wednesdays. So when him and I spoke about the idea that he didn’t want me with Will Hobbs, I was like yeah, let’s sign me up for that one because I’d rather only work on Wednesdays,”

QT Marshall recently returned to AEW in a vice president role, however he is currently not expected to step back into the ring for the promotion. As for CM Punk, the former AEW World Champion now plies his trade in WWE, although he’s currently out of action due to injury.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on CM Punk and QT Marshall as soon as we hear more.
