It looks like Riddle is going to be back in the ring again after missing his match vs Seth Rollins at this year’s SummerSlam.
In the build up to SummerSlam, Seth Rollins attacked Riddle and it was then later announced that Riddle had suffered an injury and would have to pull out of the big SummerSlam match. However, it was reported after that the injury that Riddle supposedly sustained was just kayfabe.
Riddle did appear on WWE’s Summerslam and did also get physical, as him and Seth Rollins had a brawl in the ring on the show and Rollins hit him with a stomp.
In an update from Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Meltzer states that Riddle is expected back soon:

There has been rumours/reports that this whole Riddle injury angle is all just to build up to an eventual Seth Rollins vs Riddle match taking place at the upcoming UK Stadium Show, Clash At The Castle.
