Ring Of Honor Final Battle Gets Official Date

ROH Final Battle

The last pay-per-view of ROH’s year has gotten its date and location.

Since Tony Khan took over Ring Of Honor in 2022, the promotion’s most recognisable pay-per-views have remained part of its yearly cycle. Regardless of what the brand has going on, many fans will tune in for the likes of Death Before Dishonor, Supercard Of Honor and more. Now, we know when Final Battle will fall later this year.

Today, Tony Khan revealed that Ring of Honor Final Battle will happen on December 4th at the Boeing Center in San Antonio, Texas. Furthermore, AEW Collision will take place the next night.

It’ll be interesting to see what matches happen during Final Battle, as there are plenty of long-running champions in the promotion. Bandido, the ROH World Champion, recently set the record for the most combined days as champion. Athena is the longest-reigning title holder in all of ROH history and modern-day wrestling history, with a reign of over 1,300 days and counting. Plus, Lee Moriarty has held the Pure Championship for an incredibly long reign, and Deonna Purrazzo remains the only person to hold the Women’s Pure Title.

As such, each major ROH event brings intrigue over whether it could play host to a title change perhaps years in the making. Last time out, the brand put on Death Before Dishonor, closing with Athena’s title defence against Hazuki, with her reign becoming an attraction in its own right and speculation continues over who eventually dethrones “The Fallon Goddess”. For now, who steps up to her in her home state on December 4 remains to be seen.
