Rob Van Dam may reportedly find himself in AEW as soon as All In.
All In at Wembley Stadium is now under a month away. The event is potentially set to be the biggest wrestling event held outside of WWE in history and, as of now, over 75,000 tickets have been sold. Though, fans are still wondering what might take place when AEW make their UK debut on August 27, with no matches announced to this point.
To shed some light on one particular man’s potential involvement in the Wembley show, Fightful Select have reported that Rob Van Dam has been discussed internally within AEW, with the company wanting to factor RVD into their summer plans.
“Fightful Select has learned that there have been internal discussions regarding possibly bringing in former WWE Champion Rob Van Dam.”

The report specifies that one idea for Rob Van Dam in AEW revolves around him working with FTW Champion Jack Perry at either All In or All Out and, while RVD is yet to make an appearance for Tony Khan’s company, his involvement with Perry would seem to make sense as the newly heel star has berated ECW legends such as Taz and Jerry Lynn in recent weeks.
Of course, Van Dam’s involvement with AEW is yet to be confirmed and it’s worth noting that the now 52-year-old hasn’t appeared on a US broadcast wrestling show in nearly three years, however, he has stayed active and even had a brief stint in NOAH last year.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Rob Van Dam and his AEW status as we hear more.
