This past Tuesday saw the go-home show for this Sunday’s NXT Worlds Collide event, a show that featured both the Creed Brothers and Damon Kemp of the Diamond Mine, although Roderick Strong was noticably absent despite in the faction’s ongoing storyline.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has now provided an update on the reason for Strong’s absence, revealing that the former NXT North American Champion is currently sidelined with an injury.
“There was to be a Roderick Strong angle with Diamond Mine on this week’s show but because Strong has an injury they delayed it”

The Creed Brothers are set to defend their NXT Tag Team Championships in a four-way unification bout against Pretty Deadly, Gallus, and NXT UK Tag Team Championships Briggs and Jensen at this Sunday’s Worlds Collide premium live event.
As always, we wish Strong the best in his recovery, and look forward to seeing what the future holds for him upon his return.
