An update on Roman Reigns and when fans can reportedly expect to see him defend the WWE’s top title on PPV again.
There has been a lot of talk and reports surrounding Roman Reigns’ WWE schedule going forwards, with one of the most recent reports suggesting that he will doing less house shows going forward. It was also reported that Roman Reigns will not be on the upcoming Hell In A Cell PPV.
In the most recent update, courtesy of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer writes that they have been able to confirm Roman Reigns will miss HIAC, and his next next PPV Title defence will be at the Money In The Bank PPV.
We have confirmed that Reigns is no longer scheduled on that show and that the plan right now is for the first defense of the Universal title on PPV, which at least as of this week is scheduled to be on the 7/2 Money in the Bank show at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

Roman of course is a huge star who isnt getting any younger, now at 37, it shouldn’t be too big of a surprise that he is starting to slightly slow down his schedule as he approaches 40. However, it is said that Roman doesn’t actually intend on leaving for Hollywood any time soon.
We were told he’s not planning on leaving any time soon. The obvious attempt to move into acting, like Steve Austin, Dwayne Johnson, Cena and Dave Bautista all did, is something he’s talked about as well.
