Ronda Rousey Shoots Down Possible AEW Run

Ronda Rousey isn’t keen on another pro-wrestling run with AEW.

On March 15, former UFC and WWE star Ronda Rousey made a surprise appearance at AEW Revolution as she stared down Toni Storm following her victory over long-time friend Marina Shafir. With Rousey yet to reappear for All Elite Wrestling, questions have since been raised over whether the company has any future plans for her.

Speaking to Kay Adams on the Up & Adams Show, Ronda Rousey was asked about the possibility of an All Elite Wrestling run but noted that she does not find the idea appealing.

“No, that life of being on the road is probably more time consuming than doing training camp at home. I had a great time [appearing at Revolution], but it just happened to be in town and my best friend was there.”

Following her appearance at AEW Revolution, Tony Khan stated that Rousey would always be welcome in All Elite Wrestling, although the former UFC Hall of Famer and multi-time WWE Women’s Champion claimed the moment was simply due to being in the area and wanting to send a “f*ck you” to TKO.

While a professional wrestling return does not appear to be on the cards, Ronda Rousey’s return to the octagon was a rousing success as she defeated Gina Carano via submission in just seventeen seconds at the inaugural MVP MMA event on May 16 at the Intuit Dome.
