Roxanne Perez: I Have Learned So Much From Liv Morgan

When Roxanne Perez joined the Judgment Day in 2025, she essentially came in as a replacement for the injured Liv Morgan. This prevented ‘The Prodigy’ from working alongside the more-experienced star and paused any storyline developments involving them both, with Morgan initially unhappy that Finn Bálor had invited a new member into the faction. Now alongside each other in the group, Perez has now commented on what she’s learned from Morgan.
Speaking to Complex Sports, Perez spoke about learning from Liv Morgan both from working alongside her and watching her rise in WWE.
“I think I have learned so much from Liv Morgan. More so yes from being able to work alongside her, but also just to be able to look at her career from the outside and see where she came from. She did have to figure things out on NXT and find herself, and then to years and years later, becoming this megastar. The face of WWE. Just all the things that she went through to get there because, obviously, everybody’s path is different. But sometimes, it’s hard to know when that big moment for you is coming. I think she’s the perfect example of someone that just worked her ass off until she got that big moment, and now she’s running with the big moment and she’s not stopping. So yeah, that is pretty inspiring.”

Morgan’s injury allowed Perez to have a championship around her waist just a month after her main roster debut, assuming the role as one-half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships in Liv’s absence. Together with Raquel Rodriguez, ‘The Prodigy’ carried the gold until SummerSlam before losing to Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss.
Perez and Morgan are now together, with Liv the reigning Women’s World Champion. Plus, it seems like, regardless of what comes down the line, Morgan is committed to sticking with pro wrestling until the wheels fall off.
