A very interesting name could be heading back to WWE soon if backstage rumblings are to be believed.
Former WWE RAW Women’s Champion Nia Jax made a one-night return to the company at this year’s Royal Rumble event, entering the bout at number 30. Prior to the event, Jax had been absent from the ring after being released by WWE in November, 2021.
PWInsider are now reporting that there have been rumblings within the company regarding a potential Nia Jax return, and whilst they have not heard that the 39-year-old is at RAW, the report does note several sources have heard her name mentioned as of late.
“There were some rumblings over the last few days of a potential Nia Jax return within the company. We have not heard she is at Raw but at least a few different sources noted they had heard her name being mentioned of late.”

Earlier today, TMZ revealed that WWE are set to address the future of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship tonight on RAW following Sonya Deville’s ACL tear, and with Jax being a former two-time Tag Champion, she could perhaps be making a return to add further depth to that division.
Elsewhere within the report, PWInsider revealed that both Bobby Roode & Nick Aldis are working backstage as producers at tonight’s RAW, whilst former multi-time WWE Tag Team Champions Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston are also backstage, however their is yet to be any update on the status of Randy Orton.
