WWE are believed to be keen on signing Rush, with AEW making ‘strong’ offers to convince him to stay.

Rush is someone which AEW fans have really taken to during his very short stint with the company. As part of LFI, the 34-year-old has already amassed a catalogue of high-quality matchups, despite only being involved with Tony Khan’s company for around 12 months.

In recent times, Rush’s future has been a popular topic of discussion, especially since he signed a one year contract in May 2022 and has faced visa issues along the way. To provide an update on his future, Dave Meltzer has written in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE are interested in the star, while AEW have made a ‘strong’ offer in an attempt to keep him on their books.

“Rush has been talked about a lot in WWE given his contract situation although he is believed to have a very strong AEW offer to stay.”

As of now, it’s unclear what exactly the future holds for Rush, with his last match coming on AAA’s TripleMania show while his most recent AEW appearance saw the Mexican star end up on the losing end of a six-man tag on Rampage.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Rush and where his future may lie as we hear more.
