Seth Rollins has confirmed that Becky Lynch is planning to return to wrestling.

As of writing, Becky Lynch hasn’t been seen in a WWE ring for over nine months, last competing on May 27, 2024. Following her loss to then Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan, Lynch allowed her contract to expire and she became a free agent on June 1, opting to focus on outside projects. However, despite her lengthy absence from the squared circle, it doesn’t seem as if the former Women’s World Champion is done with wrestling.

Speaking on WFAN, Seth Rollins has confirmed that Becky Lynch isn’t retired and has future plans to return to the ring.

“She took a few months off, she did some television and film projects. She’s gearing up to get ready to come back. Don’t know when that is going to happen just yet, but she is active. She is not retired. She has not mentioned anything about retirement. There are future plans for her in professional wrestling,”

In her time away from WWE, Becky Lynch has been active in the world of acting and has been filming for ‘Happy Gilmore 2’. As yet, it’s unclear when the 38-year-old will return to wrestling, but it’ll come as good news to those who want to see Lynch return that she isn’t retiring from the ring just yet.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Becky Lynch’s wrestling future as soon as we hear more.
