A new report has came out detailing where the bout between Seth Rollins & AJ Styles to crown the new World Heavyweight Champion will fall on tonight’s Night of Champions card.
Seth Rollins is set to take on AJ Styles in just a few hours time for the right to be called WWE’s first World Heavyweight Champion in nearly ten years. The pair had to qualify via two respective mini-tournaments to earn their shot at the newly established gold and, with a initial champion set to be crowned, many would assume that the match will main event Night Of Champions.
However, a new report from PWInsider Elite has revealed that the plan is for WWE’s World Heavyweight Championship bout to open tonight’s show. This may come as a surprise to a portion of viewers, but, the show also features Roman Reigns teaming up with Solo Sikoa to try and bring the Undisputed Tag Team Championships back to The Bloodline, so this is likely the new frontrunner to go on last.

For a while, it appeared as if Seth Rollins was the likely candidate to capture the World Heavyweight Championship, especially given that Styles found himself drafted to SmackDown. Though, with Rollins’ upcoming movie role, the result of tonight’s match seems uncertain.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any updates on plans for the World Heavyweight Championship as we hear more.
