It seems that Stardom has some legitimate interest in using some of AEW’s women for their top shows.

Stardom is a Japanese based all-women promotion. They are owned by Bushiroad who are also the parent company to New Japan Pro Wrestling. Ever since AEW & NJPW announced that they were going to be collaborating together to put on the Forbidden Door Show in June, many fans started to wonder if this collaboration would lead to AEW working with Stardom in the future.

It was recently reported that Stardom does indeed have interest in working with AEW, and now in the latest update from Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Meltzer has mentioned some of the top names that Stardom would be interested in using for some of their big shows:

Regarding Stardom and AEW, and right now there is nothing to the story past what was written last week, the key interest from Stardom is not Britt Baker nor Thunder Rosa, even though they are AEW’s biggest women stars as well as Jade Cargill, but the ones Stardom has the most interest in for big shows are Toni Storm, Jamie Hayter, Hikaru Shida and Tay Conti. In particular, Giulia has said she wants to work with Conti because Conti publicly said she wanted to work with Giulia.

Meltzer also interestingly added that Stardom would also of course be open to working with WWE too if the opportunity landed at their table:

Stardom would also have interest in working with WWE if that were to be possible

The idea of a great promotion like Stardom getting extra exposure to a new audience is very exciting as they genuinely have some of the most talented women in all of wrestling working for them. Hopefully something comes of all this sooner rather than later.
