STARDOM held a show in Maibara today to continue the annual Cinderella Tournament, where the winner will receive a “wish” that leads to them challenging for a championship of their choosing, which has been the Wonder of Stardom Championship in recent years.
After today’s show the semi-finalists are official with Ami Sohrei beating Mei Seira, AZM beating Miyu Amasaki, and in two upsets in a row, Ruaka beating Xena and Hanan eliminating another tournament favorite in Starlight Kid.
The Semifinals for the Cinderella Tournament:
-> Hanan vs. Ruaka
-> Ami Sohrei vs. AZM
In the main event of the show, Mina Shirakawa & Maika defeated Utami Hayashishita & Saya Kamitani, and Oedo Tai’s Momo Watanabe & Natsuko Tora in a three-way Tag Team Match when Maika pinned Utami with a Jackknife pin. After the match, Maika & Utami stared each other down just a couple of days away from their World of Stardom Championship match on the 20th in Nagoya.
