STARDOM continued their year-end tour with another show Osaka in EDION #2 in one of the last bigger tour shows before Queendom in 20 days. The show featured six matches including a preview match between Saori Anou & MIRAI and AphroditE & XL to build up the Wonder & Goddess of Stardom Championship matches at the Sumo Hall show.
In the main event, Maika teamed up with Giulia to face Suzu Suzuki and Mei Seira in a preview match for the main event of the Dream Queendom show, where Maika and Suzu are colliding to find out who is walking into 2024 as the new World of Stardom Champion. In a hard-fought battle, the “Empress” picked up the win for DDM by pinning Mei Seira with the Michinoku Driver II. After the match, Suzu & Maika continued to fight.
Megan Bayne appeared in the ring to challenge Giulia for the NJPW Strong Women’s Championship at Dream Queendom. Their first singles match ended in a Time Limit Draw on a tour show a couple of weeks ago and now they will face off for the Championship to decide a winner. Their first match was great, and it is to be expected that the Championship match will be even better.
