The last stop before Dream Queendom, as STARDOM held their major show in Nagoya today with nine matches, including Giulia & AZM facing off for the NJPW Strong Women’s title, AphroditE & Divine Kingdom battling for the vacant Goddess Championships and Suzu Suzuki defending her spot at Dream Queendom against the “Wild Heart” Hazuki.
The headliner for the show was the match with the most stakes, with Suzu Suzuki successfully retaining her “Right To Challenge” contract to officially head to Dream Queendom, where she will face Maika for the vacant World Of Stardom Championship in the main event. Hazuki put on a great fight, but she came short again, with Suzu defeating her after three German Suplexes.
The rest of the card was fine, Saya Kamitani & Utami Hayashishita defeated Maika & Megan Bayne to win the Goddess Of Stardom Championship in the semi-main event in a good match. After the match, Momo Watanabe & Natsuko Tora challenged the newly crowned Champions for Queendom, which is the conclusion of the Oedo Tai vs. Queen’s Quest feud earlier in the year. The White Belt Championship match also was made official, with Saori Anou once again challenging MIRAI after their 30-minute time limit draw at the Osaka PPV. In the match of the night, AZM stepped up against Giulia for the NJPW Strong Women’s Championship, but in a hard-fought battle, Giulia was able to retain with the Nothern Lights Bomb.
