After their two PPVs at the beginning of the year, STARDOM continues 2024 with a Korakuen Hall show built around finding out the two challengers for the World and Wonder of Stardom Championship at the 13th Anniversary show called “Supreme Fight” on February 4th in Osaka Edion Arena #1.
Before the Rumbles happened, STARDOM held a NJPW Champions vs. STARDOM Champions special tag team match, with the IWGP Women’s Champion Mayu Iwatani teaming together with the NJPW Strong Women’s Champion Giulia against World of Stardom Champion Maika and Wonder of Stardom Champion Saori Anou. The match ended in a 20-minute time-limit draw with neither team being able to force a decision. Backstage, Giulia made it clear that Maika is now her rival and she will aim for the World of Stardom Championship, but for that, Maika needs to defend her belt first against the Rumble winner.
The White Belt Rumble was in the semi-main event. After 35 minutes, Starlight Kid beat and eliminated Hanan to become the new No.1 Contender for the Wonder of Stardom Championship, and will challenge Saori Anou on February 4th. It will be the first White Belt Championship match since July 2022, when she lost to Kamitani. This will be their first singles match, and a title change is possible here.
In the main event, the World of Stardom Championship contender was decided, and it was Saya Kamitani, who is challenging Maika on February 4th for the Red Belt Championship. Maika has not beaten Kamitani in singles matches since their first match in 2020, since then Saya beat her three times & drew once, with her recent loss being in her hometown in Fukuoka. An interesting match-up for the Champion, who needs to overcome her rival to continue holding the World Championship
