After leaving STARDOM, Giulia will reportedly

For many months, STARDOM’s Giulia has been linked with a move to WWE. Reports suggesting that WWE were heavily interested in 30-year-old came out in November, and, for all intends and purposes, the belief is that the former NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion will likely be part of the company now owned by TKO this year. However, given new reports, it’s possible that Giulia won’t be heading straight to WWE when she becomes a free agent.

Per Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it’s stated that Giulia will be headed to the promotion that Rossy Ogawa is soon to start once leaving STARDOM in just a few weeks. The report notes that the former World of Stardom Champion is likely to stay with the new company for a few months before making a possible move to WWE.

“Giulia is leaving in a few weeks for Rossy Ogawa’s new group, as well several others although names have not been announced yet. After a few months with that group, she’ll be starting with WWE. She will be doing one last singles match with Nakano, likely putting her over before leaving.”

Rossy’s departure from STARDOM sent shockwaves through the world of Joshi wrestling. The 66-year-old had his contract terminated by Bushiroad in early February, and he is now set to begin his own promotion with Giulia being the first name linked to joining him. With many STARDOM contracts reportedly up this month, it will be interesting to see how the roster develops and how Rossy’s new company materialises.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Giulia’s STARDOM exit and Rossy Ogawa’s new company as soon as we hear more.
