Steve Austin has recently been heavily rumoured with making his in-ring return at this years Wrestlemania in Dallas Texas. With his opponent potentially being Kevin Owens
Owens has been taking verbal shots at Texas for the past few weeks, which has only amplified the talk of an Austin return. The return has not once been confirmed as of yet, but it has been on the lips of many wrestling fans.
However, it seems the match is still far from set. According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Austin still has not agreed to a match with Owens at Mania.
“They (WWE) thought they had the match & Steve (Austin) – you know theres a reason he hasn’t wrestled for 19 years & I just know that as of Friday, he had not agreed to do the (Wrestlemania) match.”
