Taya Valkyrie, formerly known as Franky Monet in WWE, currently finds herself as champion in three promotions, holding AAA’s Reina de Reinas Championship, MLW’s World Women’s Featherweight Championship, and being one-third of the current IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team Champions alongside Jessicka and Rosemary under the Freebird rule.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has now provided an update on where Valkyrie’s long-term future is likely to lie, reporting that she’s set to finish up with both IMPACF and MLW soon, with AEW and WWE both likely options for where she’ll land next.
“Valkyrie finished up with Impact as she was working with both companies (Impact & MLW) and on occasion AAA, where she still holds their Reina de Reinas title. She is not committed here (MLW) for a long time either. She is likely going to AEW or WWE and whichever one is supposed to be made clear within a short period of time.”

Valkyrie, known then as Franky Monet, spent the majority of 2021 signed with WWE under the NXT banner, although she was ultimately released later that year before ever making it to the main roster.
Interestingly, Jade Cargill is set to put her TBS Championship on the line in next week’s AEW Dynamite against someone from Canada, although no reports thus far have indicated that Valkyrie is planned for this spot.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Taya Valkyrie’s next move as soon as we hear more.
