Tessa Blanchard has reportedly left TNA.

On June 7, TNA officially announced the releases of both Steve Maclin and Myla Grace. Their confirmation followed reports that both wrestlers had asked the company to be let go, with Maclin already expected to gain heavy interest from other promotions. With their roster seemingly undergoing more change, a former world champion has added their name to the list of those to had their release granted by TNA.

According to an update from Fightful Select, it’s believed Tessa Blanchard has secured her release from TNA.

Sources close to her claim to Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp that former TNA Champion Tessa Blanchard has left the company. Those sources claimed to Fightful that Blanchard asked for her release from the company and secured it.

To attempt to shed some light on Blanchard’s departure, the report relays one source’s speculation that CMLL had asked the 30-year-old to choose between the two promotions. Per Fightful, the prevailing belief is that Tessa chose CMLL due to a higher salary and more dates.

This brings Blanchard’s second run with TNA to a close, having returned there at Final Resolution 2024. Having last wrestled for the company on May 15, her last eight in-ring appearances have all come for CMLL, as the star looks to make the Mexican promotion her full-time home moving forward.

Plus, it’s possible that the TNA departures won’t stop there, as a recent report has indicated WWE’s interest in signing another former TNA World Champion when their contract comes up. You can read more about that here.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Tessa Blanchard’s TNA departure as soon as we hear more.
