The 5STAR Continues, Natsu Sumire Return & Jungle Kyona In Nomads | Weekly Joshi Guide

STARDOM:

The 5STAR GP Tournament continued with Day 3 & Day 4 last week. On the 3rd Day, the new Cosmic Angels Member Natsupoi was able to stop the winning streak of MIRAI with the Fairy’s Blink. Also with her win on Day 4 against Ami Sourei the High Speed Fairy was able to score two big wins. Hazuki defeated rival Starlight Kid with her Brainbuster to continue her momentum. In the Biggest Match of both nights, Saya Kamitani defeated her former Queen’s Quest Stable Mate Momo Watanabe with the Firebird Splash to get her first two points. With that, Momo Watanabe suffers another defeat which puts the Oedo Tai Member to a 0-2 record which is a big setback for the Black Peach.

NOMADS’

NOMADS is a project from independent Joshi Freelancers with the concept to give other Joshi freelancers a platform. The Wrestlers behind the project are Maya Yukihi, Miyuki Takase, Rina Yamashita and Natsu Sumire. On Friday, the 2nd Show of NOMADS’ happened, which included the official in-ring return of Natsu Sumire after not having a real match since October 2020. Natsu teamed with Miyuki Takase to face the COLOR’s Members SAKI & Hikari Shimizu. To fit with her Tag Team Partner Takase came out with a new and darker look and worked differently than usual with her adjusting to the heelish style of Natsu Sumire. In the end, Hikari Shimizu was able to pin Natsu in her return match.

In the Main Event of the Show, Hiroyo Matsumoto and the World Of Stardom Challenger Nanae Takahashi defeated Rina Yamashita & Yuu in a great match that is worth watching! After her defeat, Rina Yamashita held a promo and wanted to end the show by introducing someone. No other than former STARDOM Wrestler Jungle Kyona made a surprise NOMADS appearance and requests a Match at the next NOMADS Show! It was Kyona’s first appearance outside of the Hana Kimura Tribute Shows since she announced her injury nearly two years ago. Kyona announced on Twitter that the States will be her home base but she will come back to Japan from time to time.
