TKO have issued a statement on today’s headline news.
On January 25th, a lawsuit was filed against Vince McMahon, along with former executive John Laurinaitis, with allegations or sex trafficking, sexual assault, and emotional abuse being brought against McMahon.
A TKO spokesperson has now issued a statement to Variety on the matter, labelling the allegations as “horrific” and something the company will take seriously, whilst maintaining that McMahon does not control either TKO or WWE at this stage.
“Mr. McMahon does not control TKO nor does he oversee the day-to-day operations of WWE. While this matter predates our TKO executive team’s tenure at the company, we take Ms. Grant’s horrific allegations very seriously and are addressing this matter internally.”

The lawsuit describes Janel Grant’s account of her interactions with McMahon, who currently serves as TKO’s Executive Chairman, in graphic detail. The lawsuit can be viewed by clicking here, although this comes with a trigger warning, as some may find its contents distressing.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on the lawsuit filed against McMahon and any potential fallout within TKO as soon as we hear more.
