A lawsuit was filed on Thursday, accusing Vince McMahon of mistreating and sexually exploiting a former WWE employee. The lawsuit alleges prolonged instances of sexual misconduct, including the involvement John Laurinaitis and Brock Lesnar. Filed in the District of Connecticut, the plaintiff, Janel Grant, claims to have experienced physical and emotional abuse, sexual assault, and sex trafficking during her time at WWE.

Grant who was previously involved in a confidential $3 million settlement with Vince McMahon, asserts she was paid only $1 million. She is now seeking to nullify the agreement and pursue unspecified financial compensation.

The lawsuit claims that Janel Grant experienced coercion into a sexual relationship with Vince McMahon, driven by the fear of legal & professional consequences if she refused. McMahon’s demands reportedly escalated in depravity during her tenure with the company. The lawsuit further claims that Grant was required to partake in sexual encounters with John Laurinaitis while employed. Additionally, it is alleged that McMahon pledged a sexual encounter with Grant to a WWE wrestler, identified by the WSJ as Brock Lesnar, during contract negotiations in the summer of 2021.

The lawsuit claims McMahon warned Grant to keep their “closeness” a secret, saying he had “world-class legal resources on speed dial to deal with people who became a problem.”

In November 2020, McMahon is accused of presenting Grant with an ultimatum: engage in a sexual encounter either in his office or a parked car. In June 2021, during an encounter, McMahon allegedly locked Grant in his private locker room at WWE Offices, and “forced himself on her over a massage table.”

According to the lawsuit, starting in March 2020, Vince McMahon allegedly distributed sexually explicit images and videos of Janel Grant to individuals both within and outside the company. The legal document specifically notes that one of the recipients was identified as “a former UFC heavyweight champion” , and another was a WWE referee. The lawsuit claims Grant tried to stop their physical encounters but McMahon refused.

In March 2022, despite Janel Grant’s departure from WWE, the lawsuit alleges that Vince McMahon tried to arrange for her to be trafficked to a WWE star who was scheduled to be in New York for a live event.

The lawsuit details that Vince McMahon reportedly arranged hour-long sessions for Janel Grant with a “celebrity doctor,” delving deeply into her personal and professional life. Grant, briefly assigned to the XFL in March 2020 with aspirations for full-time employment, faced denial of her request.

January 2022, McMahon informed Grant that his wife, Linda, had discovered their relationship, meaning he would need her departure from the company. McMahon insisted on an NDA before her exit, and although Grant signed it, the lawsuit claims McMahon ceased the promised payments.
