TNA Talent Reportedly Believe Mara Sadè Is Headed To AEW

A new report indicates that Mara Sadè might be AEW-bound.
On August 3, TNA Wrestling issued a press release announcing that Mara Sadè had left the company. The news came around a week after Fightful Select had initially noted the 31-year-old was working as a free agent after her contract had expired. Now, more has emerged on her departure including where she may land next.
In an update published via PWInsider Elite, Mike Johnson first corroborated Fightful’s report that Mara Sadè had been wrestling without a contract for several weeks.
“Mara Sadè’s TNA deal expired several weeks ago and she worked the Philadephia tapings last week to close out her story. It was said the company was very happy with how she handled herself and thankful she came to work the taping as she was not contracted to do so, thus she could have just left without finishing up in the ring. She left on 100% amicable terms.”

In terms of where she may appear next, the belief among TNA talent is that she may well become “All Elite” in the near future.
“The belief among multiple talents in TNA is that Mara Sadè is AEW bound.”

Interestingly, after being released from WWE NXT in 2025, it’s believed the company had interest in bringing her back, though it’s noted the conversations pick up steam.
“WWE sources did confirm there has been interest in bringing Mara Sadè back after she was released from NXT in 2025, but did not believe there were any lengthy conversations.”

After completing the latest round of tapings, fans will still be able to see Sadè compete in the ongoing Knockouts TV Championship tournament. Up next, the star is set to take on Heather By Elegance as she wraps up her TNA journey.
For now, there’s been no official news on Mara Sadè’s links with All Elite Wrestling, although the story is certainly one to keep an eye on in the coming weeks and months.
Sadè wasn’t the only TNA knockout to leave the company on August 3, as Jody Threat’s exit was also confirmed in the same press release. You can find more on Threat’s departure here.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on the future of Mara Sadè as soon as we hear more.
