Following a number of appearances on WWE RAW, Tommaso Ciampa has reportedly been officially called up to the WWE main roster for the RAW brand.
The news comes from PWInsider, who also noted that Ciampa is in Detroit for tonight’s episode of Monday Night RAW.
Ciampa is regarded by many as being on the Mount Rushmore of NXT talent, being a two-time NXT Champion, and a one-time Tag Team Champion alongside Johnny Gargano as DIY.
Ciampa was defeated by Tony D’Angelo in his final NXT outing at NXT Stand & Deliver on the Saturday of WrestleMania weekend, with the former champion of the brand thanking the fans for years of support, which also included a Triple H appearance.
The Blackheart’s recent RAW appearance came as part of a brief feud with Dolph Ziggler, although current plans for Ciampa once he makes his full-time transition onto RAW are currently unknown.
