Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland and Team Taz are scheduled to challenge the Young Bucks for the AEW Tag Team Championship. However, a tweet from Keith Lee led to fans pondering whether the Limitless One will be available for the match or not.
Tommy Dreamer thought on similar lines on the latest episode of Busted Open Radio. However, AEW president Tony Khan clarified that the tweet was about Keith Lee’s personal life and that he will be in the match on Wednesday. This is what the Jaguars boss had to say:
“I don’t want to get into Keith’s personal business. Keith is here, he is wrestling tonight. He had a family situation. It’s not my place to talk about it. Keith is here and here to wrestle, as I understand it. I can’t really comment on what is happening, but we’re going to support him through what is happening.”
– Tony Khan
Keith Lee and Swerve have rekindled their tag team from their days as independent wrestlers and go by Swerve in our Glory. Recent weeks have seen tension between the duo which could lead to a fasincating feud in the future. For now, we hope that whatever is plaguing Keith’s personal life gets resolved soon.
