The former bearer of bad news is seemingly on his way to the blue brand for this weeks episode of Friday Night Smackdown.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, the former superstar and current NXT commentary could be taking a seat at the desk this Friday.
Wade Barrett is slated to be at tomorrow’s Friday Night Smackdown taping in Worcester, MA PWInsider has learned.

While nothing has been confirmed, Barrett’s current status of NXT’s lead commentator, a position he’s held since his WWE return, seems to enforce the likelihood of his appearance alongside the remainder of the commentary team as Pat McAfee takes time off for a stint with ESPN.
