It’s believed that Will Ospreay will become the newest AEW signee this Saturday.

Tomorrow night, AEW will host Full Gear 2023 from the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California. The show is currently set to feature nine matches, including MJF defending his world championship against Jay White, but it’s speculation over the company’s newest recruit that has gotten fans talking.

Prior to this week’s Dynamite, Tony Khan revealed via X that he had agreed terms to bring ‘one of the world’s best wrestlers’ who is ‘respected by virtually every fan’ into the company. There has been much speculation over who this may be, but, according to Andrew Zarian on the Mat Men Podcast, it’s believed that Full Gear will see Will Ospreay sign an AEW contract, despite interest from WWE.

“I was told Will Ospreay. That is a big deal. Huge deal because WWE was actively pursuing him”

Ospreay’s future has been a popular topic of discussion in recent weeks, with the belief being that his current New Japan deal would be expiring this February. However, it seems as if we won’t have to wait long before The Aerial Assassin is All Elite.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Will Ospreay potentially joining AEW as we hear more.
