William Regal will reportedly be at Tomorrow’s WWE Smackdown.
In late 2022, Regal left AEW just nine months after making his debut. Shortly after Regal had helped MJF capture the AEW World Championship from Moxley, reports began to surface suggesting that Regal had accepted an offer to go back to WWE.
It was also reported that Regal would begin his new position in early 2023 and it appears as if tonight could be the beginning of his new role. PWInsider are reporting that the Englishman, who was last seen in WWE as the NXT General Manager in the summer of 2021, is backstage at SmackDown in Memphis.

The specifics of Regal’s new role are unclear, though, he has previously said that he is interested in mentoring young talent, including his son, Charlie Dempsey, who is in NXT.
