WrestleMania 43 Is Reportedly Still Planned For Saudi Arabia, Date and Time Believed To Be Locked In
WWE are still reportedly “full steam ahead” with WrestleMania 43 happening in Saudi Arabia.
WWE has had a long-standing relationship with Saudi Arabia, and next year, the company are hoping to head to the country for WrestleMania 43. However, there are legitimate concerns around the upcoming Crown Jewel event due to government warnings, and these worries extend to the 2027 “Show Of Shows”. However, it now appears WWE are still set to hold WrestleMania 43 as planned.
According to an update from PWInsider it’s believed that not only are things proceeding on both levels, but that WrestleMania 43’s date is set, just not revealed.
“For those who have asked, WWE is still moving full steam ahead with plans for Wrestlemania 2027 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. PWInsiderElite.com is told that representatives for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia were at WWE HQ in Stamford earlier this month for discussions about the event and the logistics surrounding it. We are also told that dates are pretty much locked in, but they are being confidential on a need to know basis currently.”

The report notes that WWE will have a contingency plan in place if they end up needing to move “The Show Of Shows”, although those within the company believe it’s currently too early for those to have been drawn out. With uncertainty still remaining about Crown Jewel, though, it’s believed the company do currently have backup plans in case the November event has to be pivoted.
When it comes to the date of WrestleMania 43, many are of the view that the company are yet to announce when it’ll take place due to the talk of AEW potentially running a US-based stadium show around the same time to fill the WrestleMania weekend void left by WWE heading overseas. While this is purely speculation for now, whether the company announce the date of next year’s WrestleMania soon remains to be seen.
