We now have an interesting update on the status of Jacob Fatu ahead of his impeding debut.
Early last month, reports emerged that former MLW World Heavyweight Champion Jacob Fatu had signed for WWE, and thus speculation began that the Anoa’i Family member could be set to link up with Solo Sikoa’s new-look Bloodline, which has since seen the introduction of former IWGP Tag Team Champions Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa.
Per a new report from WrestleVotes, some within WWE’s creative fear that Jacob Fatu’s presence could outshine Solo Sikoa, hence the emphasis on establishing his aggressive streak as The Bloodline’s new head honcho.
This past Saturday at WWE’s Backlash premium live event in Lyon, France saw Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga pick up a big win over Kevin Owens and Randy Orton, with the arrival of Tama’s brother Tanga Loa being the decisive factor.
With Roman Reigns currently away from WWE TV following his loss to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40, Solo Sikoa has taken the reins, with the expectation being that a civil war will ensue in the coming months.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on the future plans for Jacob Fatu and The Bloodline as soon as we hear more.
