WWE Reportedly Not Planning Nikkita Lyons Main Roster Call Up

Nikkita Lyons isn’t expected to be called up to WWE’s main roster imminently.

One week ago today, TRNBCKL reported that Nikkita Lyons had been mentioned as a potential addition to the Monday Night RAW roster this summer, prompting speculation about WWE’s plans for her.

However, False Finish are now reporting that despite WWE being impressed with Nikkita Lyons following her return from injury, the WWE NXT star is not expected to be called up to the main roster in the near future.

“False Finish has learned that WWE officials have been impressed with the work of Nikkita Lyons since her return from injury. However, Lyons is not expected to be headed to the main roster in the foreseeable future. Lyons will continue working in both EVOLVE and NXT.”

Nikkita Lyons made her WWE debut in December 2021 following a two-year spell with Women of Wrestling as Faith the Lioness. After an unfortunate run of injuries, she now finds herself firmly in the mix for the NXT Women’s North American Championship.

Lyons’ last televised in-ring outing saw her and Zaria come up short against the team of Tatum Paxley and Lizzy Rain after Zaria walked out on her tag team partner. Since then, the taekwondo practitioner has competed across NXT Live Events and WWE Main Event while also featuring on Season 3 of WWE LFG.
