1FW Joins AEW’s “Rebel Heart” Dynamite In September
1FW will be part of the upcoming “Rebel Heart” AEW Dynamite to raise money and awareness for ALS.
AEW previously announced a special “Rebel Heart” edition of Dynamite, set to take place in Athens, Georgia, on September 9, in support of Tanea “Rebel” Brooks amid her battle with ALS. The event will support I AM ALS while honouring Brooks and her courageous battle with the disease.
1FW, the promotion owned by AEW roster member QT Marshall, will also be getting involved with the special event. The promotion will hold matches before and after the AEW show while also raising money in support of the cause.
Through these donations, along with the matching contributions they receive, 1FW will add to the funds that All Elite Wrestling will donate following the special “Rebel Heart” event. You can learn more about the event here.
Many wrestlers have been getting involved in support of former AEW member Tanea Brooks, aka Rebel, including numerous wrestlers bringing back the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge to raise awareness of the disease and support various ALS charities. Even AEW founder Tony Khan got involved, as you can see here.
