Tony Khan Participates In The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

Tony Khan has taken on the Ice Bucket Challenge.
Lately, numerous wrestlers have partaken in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge to raise money and awareness for the disease. This was spurred on when All Elite Wrestling member Rebel Tanea was diagnosed with ALS, with the star making numerous posts to share her journey, encouraging others to spread the word about the condition in the hope more can be done to cure it in future. Previously, we noted how “The Icon” Sting did the challenge, which you can watch here. In the midst of that challenge, he asked AEW founder Tony Khan to do it, and today, he did just that.
In a post initially shared by the Jacksonville Jaguars on X, AEW CEO Tony Khan took on the Ice Bucket Challenge.
While doing the challenge, he issued a challenge to many in the Jacksonville Jaguars and the NFL to partake in it and spread the word even further, attempting to spread awareness outside of the wrestling bubble. Khan also made sure to promote the upcoming “Rebel Heart” AEW Dynamite special, which will happen on September 9th. You can read more about that here.
The special will further raise awareness for Rebel and ALS, and a donation to multiple ALS charities will happen on the night, making it a must-watch event in more ways than one.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on the AEW stars spreading awareness of ALS as soon as we hear more.
