Since Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque’s appointment as WWE’s Head of Talent Relations, the company have re-signed a number of previously released talents, with the most recent of these being Tenille Dashwood, who returned during last week’s episode of Smackdown under her previous ring name of Emma.
It now appears as though WWE are interested in bringing back yet another previously released talent, as Fightful Select are reporting that there is interest in bringing Mia Yim back to the company.
“Fightful Select has learned that WWE has interest in bringing Mia Yim back to the company.”
-Fightful
Yim received her WWE release in November of last year following a run as Reckoning as a part of the Retribution stable. Additionally, Yim had noticably changed brands during her final few months in WWE, although she ultimately never re-emerged on screen following her split from the ill-fated faction.
Having spent five months wrestling for IMPACT this year, Yim’s time with the company recently came to a close following the completion of the Bound For Glory tapings. Fightful noted that WWE were aware of her deal with IMPACT coming to an end, with their interest coming in anticipation of this.
Fightful closed their report by stating that whilst they haven’t heard of a potential start date for Yim in WWE, she’s expected to be brought back soon. Yim undoubtably had a lot of wasted potential during her first run with WWE, and thus we’re looking forward to seeing how she’ll fare under the new regime.
