WWE Reportedly Yet To Decide On A New Name For EVIL

EVIL’s new WWE ring name is yet to be decided.
Last night’s episode of NXT saw former IWGP Heavyweight Championship holder EVIL make his debut on the brand. However, while his presentation remained largely the same from his time in New Japan Pro-Wrestling, commentary notably did not name him, with PWInsider previously reporting that Japanese sources do not expect him to retain the EVIL name.
According to TC of WrestleVotes, WWE have yet to decide on a new ring name for the former NJPW star EVIL.
EVIL made his debut by interrupting Tony D’Angelo and handing him yet another gift embroidered with the kanji for “war”, before Tavion Heights and fellow new signing Will Kroos laid out the NXT Championship holder.
Earlier today, it was revealed that WWE had filed to trademark “Nox Raijin”, leading to speculation that the name could be for EVIL. However, it remains to be seen whether this will be the name the company ultimately chooses to give the ‘King of Darkness’.
