Throughout 2026, WWE has introduced a number of new stars to its audience, including NARAKU, Royce Keys, Lizzy Rain, and more. With speculation continuing to build over further additions, one standout independent talent now appears to be firmly on WWE’s radar.

While discussing a number of expected WWE arrivals, including both in-ring talent and a referee, Fightful Select revealed that the company is interested in signing Richard Holliday and that it’s possible he is already under contract.

“Fightful Select sources claim that Richard Holliday also has WWE interest, and they expect he could be signed soon if he isn’t already. As with any signing, until it’s done, anything can happen.”

Richard Holliday has long been regarded as one of the independent wrestling scene’s brightest stars, having competed for the likes of MLW, GCW and Exodus Pro Wrestling, where he currently reigns as the NWA Midwest Heavyweight Champion.

During his time in Major League Wrestling, Holliday notably captured the MLW World Tag Team Championship alongside MJF, who is now in his third reign as AEW World Champion.

The report additionally notes that Holliday was once considered for the role of Mr. Elegance in TNA Wrestling. After several WWE tryouts in recent years, it now appears likely that he’ll soon be putting pen to paper with the company.

Should Holliday join WWE, he likely wouldn’t be the only new arrival, with reports continuing to indicate that Enzo & Cass are set to return to the company following Big Bill’s AEW departure. You can read more about that here.

Furthermore, Zilla Fatu is reportedly expected to join WWE imminently, if he hasn’t already signed with the company. You can read more about that here.
