STARDOM’s Natsupoi has announced her retirement date.
At this past Saturday’s opening night of the 2026 5★STAR Grand Prix, Natsupoi challenged Syuri for the IWGP Women’s Championship. Unfortunately for the 31-year-old, she wasn’t able to come away with the win, but it was after the match that she had fans questioning what was next. In her backstage comments, the “Ring Fairy” laid her kneepad on the floor, and delivered her signature ‘Bye Poi’ catchphrase before leaving. Now, more has emerged on Natsupoi’s future.
Speaking in today’s STARDOM Press Confrence, Natsupoi announced she will retire on January 3, 2027.
“I have decided to retire from professional wrestling with effect from 3 January 2027.

While discussing her impending retirement, Natsupoi mentioned the announcement earlier this year of her marriage to NJPW star Shingo Takagi. Here, she noted that being married was a big part of her decision to step away from competition and move into life outside of the ring.
