M By Elegance Defeats Indi Hartwell To Reach Knockouts TV Title Final

M By Elegance has advanced to the final of the Knockouts Television Title tournament after beating Indi Hartwell on Impact.

The semifinal aired on the August 13 episode from the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Hartwell reached this stage by beating “Vicious” Vicki Venuto in the first round and Thea Hail in the quarterfinals. M beat Rosemary in her opening match and then received a bye into the semifinals when Wendy Choo and Elayna Black went to a ten-minute time limit draw, a result that eliminated both women and left M without a quarterfinal opponent. She made her entrance accompanied by The Personal Concierge, Mr. Elegance and her tag team partner Heather By Elegance.

Hartwell charged straight at M as soon as the bell rang and hit an early bulldog for a count of one. M answered by taking the match to the outside, dropping Hartwell with a suplex on the floor before returning to the ring and scoring a two count of her own. The Australian fought her way back with a pair of clotheslines and a spinebuster for a near fall.

Hartwell then climbed to the top rope before her opponent tried to cut her off, but she knocked her back to the canvas and came off the top with an elbow to the spine for an extremely close near fall, following it with a big boot that sent M out of the ring and down to the floor.

In the closing moments of the match, Elayna Black and Knockouts World Champion Xia Brookside brawled their way out from backstage, carrying on a fight that had started earlier in the night in the makeup department. With Hartwell distracted by Black and Brookside, M seized the opening and drove her into the steel steps. Back in the ring, M climbed to the top rope and hit the moonsault for the pinfall victory, with M By Elegance moving on to the final.

Heather By Elegance faces Jada Stone in the second semifinal on the August 20 episode of Impact. The winner will meet M By Elegance in the tournament final, which has been announced for the live episode of Impact from Brampton, Ontario Canada on August 27, where the first-ever Knockouts Television Champion will be crowned.
