Ruby Soho Reportedly Cleared For In-Ring Return Months Ago

Ruby Soho has been cleared to return to in-ring action for All Elite Wrestling.

In April 2024, Ruby Soho stepped away from AEW after announcing her pregnancy in the ring alongside her husband, Angelo Parker. Soho has been out of action for more than two years, but we now have an update on a potential return to the ring.

According to Fightful Select, Soho was present at AEW’s television tapings in Cincinnati, Ohio, in June and was undergoing medical clearances with AEW’s medical team ahead of a potential return to the ring.

“Fightful Select sources are told that Ruby Soho was actually at the AEW tapings in Cincinnati way back in June. We were also told that Ruby was getting clearances from AEW medical for her eventual return to the ring.”

The report additionally notes that while Fightful has heard ideas being discussed for Ruby Soho’s eventual return over the past few months, nothing concrete has been put in place yet, and Soho has not been a regular presence backstage.

Ruby Soho made her All Elite Wrestling debut on September 5, 2021, at AEW All Out following her WWE release in June. She had spent five years with WWE, performing as Ruby Riott across NXT and the main roster.
