TNA Wrestling Severs Ties With Max Caster In Official Statement

Max Caster has officially been dropped by TNA.
At Bound For Glory, Max Caster debuted for TNA by answering Moose’s open challenge. However, during the rap that accompanies his entrance, he included lines making reference to the recent missile strikes in Saudi Arabia, leaving TNA Executives reportedly unhappy with Caster. As a result, doubt was cast over his future with the company, and a final decision has now been made.
On Monday evening, TNA took to social media to release an official statement on the matter.
This isn’t the first time Caster has been reprimanded for his pre-match raps, with his entrance on an August 2021 edition of AEW Dark also drawing criticism and later being edited out of the broadcast. As such, the future remains unclear for the former AEW World Tag Team Champion after entering free agency just a couple of weeks ago.
Of course, the ongoing situation in Saudi Arabia is incredibly serious, and, with WWE still set to travel there for Crown Jewel next month at the time of writing, the subject is currently the topic of much debate within the world of wrestling. For now, discussions are ongoing about whether or not the next Premium Live Event will go ahead as planned despite it still be advertised for Riyadh. You can read more about that here.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Max Caster’s TNA exit as soon as we hear more.
