Max Caster Reportedly Could Be Done With TNA Due To Controversial Rap At Bound For Glory

Max Caster

Max Caster’s run in TNA might be over before it ever truly began.

Having been with All Elite Wrestling since the pandemic, Max Caster made a name for himself as part of The Acclaimed. However, AEW let his contract expire, and he wasted no time in working with TNA via the Bound For Glory pay-per-view on Sunday. True to his AEW character, he came out with a rap, but, due to lines around the recent missile strikes in Saudi Arabia, his entrance prompted a lot of backlash online. Now, it seems fans weren’t the only ones unhappy with Caster following Bound For Glory.

According to an update from Fightful Select, TNA executives were believed to be taken aback by the line, casting doubt over Max Caster’s future with the company.

“TNA sources told Sean Ross Sapp that Max Caster had got heat from many in TNA for his line “And it’s the firing squad. I drop bombs. You don’t even have to fly to Riyadh” on the show. Specifically, some executives were unhappy with the line. TNA sources claimed the line was not scripted or approved.”

While an initial report from False Finish on X suggested Caster is now out of the company, Fightful note they haven’t heard that specifically. Initially, its believed plans were for Max to be at the next round of tapings that TNA was to do in Donthan, Alabama, but now those are in question. Plus, it remains unclear whether Caster was already under TNA contract or if he was working under a verbal agreement to see how things went.

Undoubtedly, one of the key reasons for the controversy isn’t solely because of the real-life events that Max was quoting, but the fact that TNA is in partnership with WWE, which may still go to Riyadh soon for its Crown Jewel event. While there’s been no word from the company, recent events may put a stop to their plans to travel to the region next month. You can read more about that here.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Max Caster’s TNA future as soon as we hear more.
