Max Caster Comments After TNA Bound For Glory Rap: It’s Not My Intention To Make People Upset

Max Caster has addressed the criticism following his TNA Bound For Glory entrance.
This past Sunday night, Max Caster made headlines by referencing the recent attack on Riyadh airport as part of his pre-match rap. Not long after, reports suggested his future with TNA was in jeopardy before it had truly began, and, on Monday night, the company confirmed they’d severed ties with Caster following his controversial entrance. Now, the 37-year-old has addressed the situation.
Releasing a video on social media, Caster said he ultimately accepts the fallout of his TNA entrance, firstly thanking Carlos Silva for the opportunity.
“Just to address all the TNA stuff, I want to say thank you to Carlos Silva. I talked to him in person, he was very generous, very professional, even after all this stuff happened and I understand why he did what he did. It’s his show and he’s got to protect TNA and I went too far for him. I want to apologise to him and everybody else in the office. I want to apologise to anyone who vouched for me to get that spot, I feel like I let those people down.”

Then, Caster noted that it’s never his intention to offend with his raps.
“For anyone who’s offended, I just want everybody to know that, when I do these raps, it’s never to offend people, it’s only to entertain. So, in my mind, it’s entertainment value first and then if you’re offended by it that’s your right. So, I can’t apologise for anyone being offended, but just know it’s not by intention to make people upset. If it gets a reaction, I think I did my job.”

With the dust still settling, there’s no news on what Max Caster will do next. After All Elite Wrestling allowed his deal to expire a matter of weeks ago, the former AEW World Tag Team Champion looked for a fresh start as part of TNA, though it was unclear if he ever officially signed with the promotion prior to taking on Moose this past weekend.
The free agent will now look to bounce back from his unsuccessful TNA appearance, having predominantly wrestled for Wrestling Open since his last AEW match back in December 2025.
