Darby Allin Completes New York Marathon Days Before AEW Blood & Guts

Darby Allin has done many things in the last year, and now he can add completing a marathon to his list of accomplishments.
Not long ago, the current TNT Champion of All Elite Wrestling, Darby Allin, revealed he wanted to participate in and complete the 2026 New York Marathon. Pushing the limits, he’d outlined his intention to run it without any training at all, lining up with the kind of daring task fans have become accustomed to seeing out of the former AEW World Champion. Now, we know he was up to the challenge.
As shared by AEW on social media, Allin was able to complete the New York Marathon.
What makes this all the more impressive is that Darby had been in Mexico the previous day to wrestle a hard-hitting match against Hechicero, and was only days away from another brutal match via Blood & Guts.
Plus, he’s not the only one having a hectic schedule ahead of B&G, as AEW World Champion Will Ospreay took to social media to reveal his own breakneck schedule that he’s doing to help elevate wrestling on many fronts.
This Wednesday, Allin and Ospreay will stand side by side in Blood & Guts. Up against the Don Callis Family, the AEW World Champion and the TNT Champion will join forces with The Young Bucks, Adam Copeland, and Steven Borden inside the two-ringed cage in what will be the sixth use of the match in the company’s men’s division.
On top of that, the second annual women’s Blood & Guts recently added two new competitors, finalising the teams set for this Wednesday. You can find the most updated lineups and the posters for the event here.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on both Darby Allin, Will Ospreay, and Blood & Guts as soon as we hear more.
